Do you think studying texts from different cultures is worthy?

I think that studying texts from different cultures is worthy. I think that because, it allows you to learn about things that are happening around the world and the issues some countries might be facing. Studying texts from different cultures gives you a chance to read about how other people live and how different their lives are from ours. It also educates you on other people’s beliefs, customs, traditions, and the history of the culture. It can make you realize the difference between your culture or way of life from the culture you are studying about. For example, Afghanistan’s culture is very different from Canada’s. Also, reading about Afghanistan’s safety issues can make you realize how grateful you are to be living in a country that is full of diversity and has many rights for its citizens. Overall, studying texts from different cultures allows the reader to have a broader and a deeper understanding of people’s way of life around the world.
